About Dr. Grace Yao

Dr. Grace Yao is a board-certified obstetrician and gynecologist who has over 21 years experience in women's care. She specializes in prenatal and postpartum care, vaginal deliveries, cesarean sections, irregular menstruation, adolescent counseling, birth control counseling, and gynecological cancer prevention. Dr. Grace Yao began her education at Harbin Medical School where she obtained her doctorate of medicine. She then went on to continue her education at Peking University where she obtained her doctorate in philosophy. ​In 2012 Dr. Yao completed an OB/GYN internship at Flushing Hospital & Medical Center. And in 2015 she finished her residency at St. John Hospital & Medical Center. Dr. Yao also completed postdoc work at UCLA, Cedar--Sinai.

Dr. Grace Yao has been offering her expertise and care to women in Orange County for more than 10 years. She is an expert in prenatal care and examinations, obstetrical complications, postpartum care and both vaginal and C-section births. We understand the importance of preventative care for women of all ages and offer well woman exams, contraception counseling, and even treatments for incontinence and other common concerns.
